Bring It!

Since 2007, journalist Suzan Revah has written about gay nightlife, culture and lifestyle in a regular column for Gloss magazine called “Bring It!” She covers the full spectrum of the glittery rainbow that is San Francisco’s gayborhood, including dance parties, fundraisers, performances and politics.

Bring It! gets its name from Suzan’s belief that every event is exactly what you make of it. As San Francisco’s “Original Fag Hag,” Suzan is a party bringer who prefers to appreciate rather than hate, and participate rather than spectate. She lives to keep the swishy spirit of San Francisco alive and thriving.

San Francisco hosts at least one superstar DJ every single weekend, which is a beautiful thing to be able to take for granted, especially when you rely on regular dancefloor sweat sessions the way most people rely on regular psychotherapy. As much as I love the rocker girls at [...]

I was so beyond grateful that I got to spend this Thanksgiving with my San Framily, it got me thinking about all the only-in-San Francisco things that make me so thankful I live here (and spend every cent of my disposable income on decadence and frivolity). Twisted fag hagA female, typically straight, who prefers the [...]

Am I gay yet? A button with this cute one-liner lives on my purse, my way of wearing my heart on my sleeve. But just when I thought I couldn’t possibly be any gayer (or at least as gay as a gay man trapped inside the body of a hetero-flexible married woman can be), I [...]
