Parties provide relief, release and escape, but fundraisers provide purpose and integrity. Community service is at the foundation of Love My Gays, because gays do it with such flair. In this way, they set themselves apart, set themselves up for success, and set a higher standard.
Simply put, the gays put the fun in fundraising, as a matter of ritual and routine.
Partying with purpose is a core value of Love My Gays. There’s no denying that fancy-free is fabulous, but charity, community and harm-reduction are things that make gayer so much better. Gayborhood parties that give something back demonstrate that great times and great work go great together.
