The International Imperial Court System, which originated in San Francisco in 1965, is made up of individual social and community service organizations bound together in shared structure, policies and goals. Originally intended mainly for “camp” fun, with camp titles such as empress and princess, courts throughout the world now serve as important community groups or “families,” raising funds and awareness for a broad range of altruistic interests.
